Updates!

I've added a new page called "Travels." Basically, it's photos for places I've been/seen..

Also, Misc Fun has been updated.

If you haven't discovered this already, clicking on a photo will open it to view on its own and larger. That might be helpful with some of the photos in Travels.

Arts Day!

That shot was taken yesterday during the ARTS DAY festivites on campus. All of the fine arts and performing arts departments had stations set up all over campus. Theatre put on short skits, choir sang, dance teams danced. Fine arts had people doing painting demos, drawing demos, etc. AND!!! Photography had a studio set up in the Student Union lobby! I was one of 4 students running the studio. We used the view camera to take polaroids for 2 hours. It was so much fun. The photo above is the 4 of us who ran the studio - left to right... John B, Brenda B, Jeff G, and ME. to get all of us in the shot, John set up the composition and then had a fellow photog person who was passing by press the release cord for us. I love the shot - if you look at it upside down, it looks like we are on a roller coaster. I wish my eyes were open though - I was laughing, so they are shut. But it's still an awesome shot.

Midterms are finally over! I'll have pictures of my projects up next week.

Also, the message forum has become more than just a message forum relating to this site. There are now sections for other people there as well. So far Tracy, Josh, and Mark have boards there as well so anyone interested can read about what they've been up to as well!

Chicago!, View Camera, Digital Photography have been updated.

On Monday I'll have a lot to update for Drawing and Design as well, and probably some more for view camera.
Yesterday was a busy day - I was out on a photo shoot all afternoon for view camera. Sunday night will be spent in the darkroom preparing my project that is due next Thursday.

There will be a lot to update in the next two weeks with midterms being due, as well as the usual projects. It might take some time to get it all shot for the journal though, but it will get up here soon.
